In a friendly match that took place prior to the season on Tuesday, The Hammers clinched a 3-2 win over Tottenham.
Kane was in the starting lineup of the match, notwithstanding doubts regarding his prospective tenure under the new manager of Spurs, Ange Postecoglou.
The 29-year-old player was called off the field during half-time, after which Postecoglou carried out a few modifications in the team lineup.
Despite putting up a strong show, Spurs had to bear a 3-2 loss in the match held in Perth.
Moyes paid tribute to the strong team that Tottenham has, particularly commending their triumphant striker.

The current captain of England has only one year left in his contract with Spurs, and Bayern Munich has shown interest in hiring him.
Spurs, determined to keep their highest scorer ever, have turned down offers made by Bayern so far.
