Persistent speculations link Kane to Bayern Munich in recent weeks, and now, Dreesen, during his chat with Fussball Transfers, validates his club’s curiosity for the English sporting sensation.
Bayern Munich Executive Displays Keenness for Tottenham Icon Harry Kane
Tottenham are firm on not allowing Harry Kane to transfer during this summer season.
Recognizing the Herculean task to find a replacement for the ‘outstanding‘ Kane, especially when Spurs are disqualified from every European league, Daniel Levy—the Tottenham chairman—is expected to resist the change as long as feasible.
Yet, the decision does not seem to deter Bayern, whose president, Uli Hoeness, drew media attention after expressing strong views on Kane and Tottenham (Sport1).
Dreesen, the club CEO, further strengthened such claims.
He stated, “Our interest in him (Kane) is no secret in the (Bayern) domain.
“Hoeneß’s statements reflect our standpoint. However, we prefer to concur with the coach who suggested: pulling on the grass doesn’t make it grow faster.”

However, this strategy might not prove effective when dealing with Daniel Levy.
Negotiating with Levy, the Tottenham chairman, proves a challenge even on a good day—we fail to see how Bayern’s public declarations about a transfer will ease their case. This might just make Levy more determined to retain Kane.
It piques interest to watch how this situation will unfold in future. Thus far, it seems like Bayern may have tripped with their approach.
