Sergio Reguilon Felicitates Oliver Skipp on Instagram Following U21 Euros Triumph

Sergio Reguilon, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, used Instagram to extend his warm wishes to Oliver Skipp following his decisive victory at the European U21 Championships with the English side.

The English team had an excellent run, ultimately clinifying the championship with a 1-0 victory against Spain.

For the most part of the tournament, Skipp provided support from the side-line, having started only a single match in the group stages.

In the final match, Skipp was brought in for the last 10 minutes to secure England’s winning position against Spain.

Young goalie James Trafford turned out to be the night’s star, making a crucial penalty save in the stoppage time that lead England to a narrow victory.

Post the spectacular triumph at the U21 Euros, an elated Skipp took to social media to share his joy with fans and followers.

In response to Skipp’s post-match celebration on Instagram, Reguilon quick sent a hearty emoji to congratulate his teammate. He joined the likes of Michel Vorm, Dane Scarlett, and Harvey White who also sent their wishes.

Despite a challenging start to the last season due to injuries, Skipp managed to carve out a steady place in the team following Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury that ended his season.

Skipp’s talents have been noticed in Spurs matches and it would be interesting to see how his role evolves under Ange Postecoglou’s guidance.

His victorious stint with the U21 Euros should significantly boost his confidence, especially as he heads back for pre-season training.

With Postecoglou expected to bring a dynamic style of play to Tottenham, it remains to be seen how Skipp performs, given his success with the similar style at Norwich City two years ago.
