The player moved to Tottenham from Sevilla two years back, accompanied by Erik Lamela who took the reverse path.
Despite being 22, Gil has already been loaned out twice by the club.
His time during both the seasons at Spurs had been quite similar; he was with the North London club until January and then moved away.
The supporters of Valencia cherished his presence during his first loan spell there and wanted him to stay longer.
