Bayern Munich Shared their Intentions to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham with Fabrizio Romano

It is now common knowledge that Bayern Munich is looking forward to Harry Kane’s acquisition from the Spurs this summer.

Despite having their initial two proposals turned down by Daniel Levy, the German victors bounced back with a whopping £86.2 million third offer on Friday (As per London World) to make the deal a reality.

Bayern Munich’s latest bid is yet to receive a response from Levy. Even though there are circulating rumors of the Bundesliga champions setting an ultimatum for a response, they seem calm and willing to wait it out.

As Romano suggests, Bayern does have backup plans in place in case the Kane deal doesn’t materialize, but the focal point of their attention remains the England captain. According to the journalist’s sources, the deal is ‘absolutely still on’.

Romano quoted, “Certainly, there are alternates but they are not as far ahead as their pursuit of Kane.

“Bayern’s attention is centred completely on Kane and as of this moment, the deal is very much alive. The only response I receive from Bayern is that they are focusing all their efforts on Kane.

“While Kane is open to a move away from Tottenham this summer, he is leaving the decision to the clubs. He would welcome a move to Bayern but is not desperate to exit Tottenham if the deal doesn’t go through.”

Observations of TBR:

Bayern Munich appears relentless in their pursuit, don’t they?

Thomas Tuchel is passionately looking to get the England international on his team this summer and Bayern is leaving no stone unturned to make this a reality.

Conversely, Levy is taking his time to respond to the bid. It might be his plan to make Bayern lose hope and retract their offer by dragging the deal on.

To top it off, Bayern Munich shows no signs of backing off, and will continue to push for their interests.
