According to a report from FootballTransfers on Saturday, the Spurs are paying ‘close attention’ to the current circumstance of the Spanish player.
The Spurs have kept themselves engaged in the summer transfer market, successfully making three acquisitions so far.
Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison have already been welcomed into the Spurs team, and Dejan Kulusevski has officially joined the squad.
Now, with rumors of Ivan Perisic on the verge of exiting the team, Ange Postecoglou needs to find a suitable replacement.
According to FootballTransfers, the newly appointed Tottenham coach is considering Marc Cucurella, as his future at Chelsea hangs in the balance.
There is a buzz that Chelsea is ‘eager to unload’ Cucurella, who ascended to the rank of the most costly left-back the previous year.
The head of Lilywhites reportedly envisions Cucurella functioning in unity with Yves Bissouma in a revamped strategy.

Tottenham fans should be ecstatic about this potential prospect. Cucurella is a formidable player who has been tested in the Premier League and continues to show promise.
According to talent scout platform TMS, he was rated as a ‘deft player with both feet who shines when in possession of the ball’ and ‘one of the most flexible players in the world’ last year.
While criticisms could be levelled at his performance at Chelsea last year, it was, in fact, a challenging year in general for Chelsea (to understate it).
It remains to be seen what price tag Chelsea will attach to Cucurella, especially since they reportedly shelled out over £60million to secure him.
