Davinson Sanchez is on the verge of finalizing a transfer to Real Betis, with his negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur now almost concluded.
This information comes from a report by Tuttomercatoweb, stating that if the Colombian player opts for a La Liga transition, it could cost slightly above £6 million.

Davinson Sanchez’s speculated departure from Tottenham is not unexpected. His performance in North London has been erratic, revealing only occasional flashes of the brilliance which initially attracted Spurs to recruit him.
Davinson Sanchez’s Decision on Real Betis Transfer Imminent
Wednesday reports from 90min indicated that Strasbourg and Spartak Moscow received approval to initiate discussions concerning a possible Sanchez transfer.

However, their interest may have been too late. Tuttomercatoweb states that Sanchez is near finalizing a transfer to Real Betis, and will confirm his decision within the upcoming week.
Sanchez appears eager to proceed to Andalusia, while Spurs are set to recover only a percentage of their initial outlay prior to the final year of the 27-year-old’s contract.
In reality, Tottenham was not anticipating a large return on Sanchez due to his recent subpar performance. Coupled with his contract situation, this leaves the club not in an ideal negotiation position.
Thus, settling his future swiftly makes sense. His exit will account for some reduction in the wage bill, and it is hoped by Ange Postecoglou that this will enable the arrival of a new defender.
If Sanchez remains with Tottenham Hotspur for the next season, it is unlikely to benefit any party.
