19-Year-Old Alfie Devine Eyeing Loan Move Away from Tottenham

Alfie Devine, Tottenham Hotspur’s promising 19-year-old forward, is set for a potential loan spell away from the club this season.

The Independent has indicated that Spurs believe this course of action to be in the best interest of the young player’s continued growth.

Devine, receiving commendation for his exceptional performance during Tottenham’s pre-season tour, has not been loaned out since joining from Wigan in 2020.

The forward has demonstrated excellent performance within Spurs’ youth teams, leading to suggestions he could be ready to make his mark at senior level.

Alongside Devine, Dane Scarlett, a fellow member of the club’s academy, is also mulling over a loan move.

Postecoglou, the current manager, has shown admiration for Devine’s performance since joining the team, indicating a detailed plan for his development.

It will be compelling to see the league Devine will play in next season.

While Dane Scarlett struggled in his loan spell with Portsmouth in League One last year, Tottenham is expected to be hesitant in loaning Devine or Scarlett to a lower tier league this season.

Devine, who turned 19 this year, had probably expected to work under Ange Postecoglou’s guidance this season.
